AC Milan has made it to the next round of the Champions League tournament with a 2-1 win over Red Star (Crvena Zvezda), Belgrade last Wednesday. This gave them a 3-1 aggregate score for both games.

Meanwhile, Chievo Verona has been elimated in the third round by Levski in a 2-2 draw. Levski had a two game total of 4-2 to push them into the group stage of the tournament. Third round results

First matches in the group stage round are September 12 and 13 and feature Italian teams Inter, AC Milan and AC Roma in the final 32.
