Inter handed Scudetto for last season

The Internazionale Football Club of Milan, better known as Inter, was awarded the scudetto for the 2005-06 season in the Serie A. This is a result of Juventus' relegation to Serie B and AC Milan's point subtraction in the soccer scandal. Inter finished third last season but inherited the title since the other two were no longer eligible.
