Puma "wins" World Cup

Sports apparel manufacturer Puma won their first world title when Italy defeated France for the World Cup trophy last Sunday. The contract with the Italian Football Federation was signed in 2003 and extended past the World Cup in 2014 last November.

Along with new uniforms featuring four World Cup stars, PUMA will start an international ad campaign, saluting the Italian team on their World Cup victory, beginning tomorrow.

The ads will be printed in high profile newspapers such as the "Financial Times", "Gazzetta dello Sport", "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung", "De Telegraf", "L´Equpe", "Neue Zürcher Zeitung" or "The Times".
