Four teams penalized in Italian soccer scandal

The verdict is in and the penalties are harsh. Soccer clubs Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina have all been demoted to Serie B for the 2006-07 season and were given "minus" points in the standings for this season. Juve will also forfeit the two league titles or "scudetti" they won in 2005 and 2006.

AC Milan will remain in Serie A but will face a 15 point deficit this season. All four teams have filed for an appeal of the rulings.
